Sirach 31:13

The spirit of those that fear the Lord shall live; for their hope is in him that saveth them.

Remember that a wicked eye is an evil thing: and what is created more wicked than an eye? therefore it weeps upon every occasion.

Remember that a greedy eye is a wicked thing. What has been created more greedy than an eye? Therefore it sheds tears from every face.
