1 Maccabees 7:15

So he spoke to them, peaceably, and swore to them, saying, we will procure the harm neither of you nor your friends.

So he spake unto them, peaceably, and sware unto them, saying, we will procure the harm neither of you nor your friends.

He spoke with them words of peace, and swore to them, saying, “We won’t seek to harm you or your friends.”
