Sirach 29:1

He that is merciful will lend to his neighbor; and he that strengthens his hand keeps the commandments.

He that is merciful will lend unto his neighbour; and he that strengtheneth his hand keepeth the commandments.

He who shows mercy will lend to his neighbor. He who strengthens him with his hand keeps the commandments.
